Chrysler Recalls 20,000 Jeep, Dodge EVs for Failing Instrument Panels

Fiat-Chrysler U.S. has recalled a total of 20,271 Jeep and Dodge vehicles because the instrument panels may become inoperable.

Affected vehicles include:

Chrysler explains that the failure of the instrument panel results in violations of two Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) rules, and that it can leave the driver without critical information, increasing the risk of an accident.

The fix will come in the form of updated software for the affected unit. As always, recall repairs are free to the owner.

Owners are expected to be notified about the recall starting May 21, 2026.
